Why Is Shekau's Death Not Celebrated By Nigerians? by akpanoka: 9:48am On Oct 10, 2013
Just recently, the SSS confirmed an earlier claim by the jtf that Shekau may have died after sustaining gunshot injuries during one of their shoot outs. The SSS also released a still picture of Shekau's lifeless body on a sick bed. This singular fiat shows that the intelligence org was really on top of their game.

But the question is, why is his death not celebrated in Nigeria? CNN just reported that shekau is d 9th most dangerous terrorist in the world. If a man responsible for the death of many Nigerians is taken out, isn't it worth frontpage in our dailies, more so that the war on insurgency is yielding result? Or are Nigerians or our media convert supporters of terrorism?

Why should Nigerians celebrate, when the President doesn't believe his Army?
People are contemplating his Death, so you don't expect them to celebrate

There is no course for celebration for the death of a bloody terrorist who quench his thirst with innocent blood until the issue of BOKO-HARAM is wiped to the dust there is no celebration.

Celebrate what?
Depends on whom you believe. The president or the STF.
I don't believe both.

Maybe we need angels to make a banner for us on the sky before we would believe the dude is dead... HE IS DEAD and we just moved on like nothing happened even after the SSS confirmed it.... We will rather celebrate anything that downplays government effort as criticizing is easy since u dont just need to go along with the flow....pathetic!

A video showing him on a hospital bed doesn't translate to him being dead? Why can't the JTF invade the hospital and arrest him since they know where he is receiving treatment? If JTF was professional enough, a man like Shekau who is/was No1 wanted man should have been arrested dead or alive when he was shot
