Hi fellow nairalanders plz I want to buy a HD video camera for film and video but do not know exactly the one to go for.comparing panasonic P2 and canon 7D. Or is there any other more superb camera that can give me a very high crystal liquid picture display.the ones I just mentioned are just 4 comparison not already on my mind to go for so if you have any pls just put it down now coz am waiting.thanks

what is ur budget for purchase
what purpose u intend to use it for and achieve
what calibration do u want in terms of pixels
durability is anoda aspect to consider
ability to use accessories like lenses, filter...
weight could be minor but not wen u consider purpose
support from company/ warranty
friendliness

but most times, its not about d camera, its about d operator and post production artist. I respect expensive cams but I still achieve quality with less expensive ones and earn more money...just make sure u understand ur machine. Shalom...08030726430

@ Omodada - Thanks for that. Far too many people think the 'best' camera (which of course doesn't even exist so none of them can ever buy it) will magically make them brilliant filmmakers.

Instead of 'waiting' why don't you actully figure out what you want to do and then do your 'research' into cameras figuring the pros & cons of each one that fits into your 'budget.
