I can't still stop wondering if there are no corruption cases anymore in this country for ICPC to be running after fake corpers, even though am not in support of their (fake corpers) act. Have we investigated all the certificates of people claiming to be our leaders where most of them either use their ward's certificate to get position or dubiously obtain one from institutions.. I wonder while a primary six certificate holder will qualify for a post of counselorship and a secondary school certificate holder will run for the house of representative and you expect all to be going on smoothly. How will they know the pains of going through the university and graduating with 2;1 or 2;2 under the sun or in the rain coupled with harrassament from lecturers? And the minority of the populations who are lucky to study abroad and find themselves in high position will posit that 'Nigeria Graduates are not employable'. How are we going to be employable when goverment will sign a memorandum and won't honour it and when such union embark on strike will term it politically motivated, a computer science graduate can't boast of operating a computer through out his stay in school. Courses (programming, microsoft certfication,) that are supposed to be taught in higher institutions are now been taught by private individuals. Sombody shld tell me how this country will move forward. |
