Corruption in Nigeria has grown because it is highly encouraged.Nigerians are corrupt because the system they live under today makes corruption easy and profitable.They will cease to be corrupt when corruption is made difficult and unattractive.How can corruption be made difficult and unattractive? |

Corruption as the name implies has really eating deep in the Nigerian system, especially in all arm of govt, federal, State and local government, the own way corruption can be made less attractive, is to start from the top, and pass a law that makes it possible for anybody who receive and give bribe to the sentenced, this is how the Chineses were able to make theirs unattractive. Today corruption in Nigeria starts frm the top, i.e. Top level government. I would hv suggest the federal govt of civil society group opening up a special site, where people can go and report corruption related matter, like in India "I paybribe" is a site where people can go and lodge their complains, I think it can work in Nigeria too. |
