Beautiful cream upholstery, sweet colour, me likes it. Welcome to da club.
For your Check Light and VSC, I'd advice a scan. Whatsoever the code is, post it here, for your suspension issue, do a physical inspection. Please and please don't let kazeem baptize your ride with his bad luck by pressing spoil button on that ride.

@Lexusgs430, wetin be 'HPI' you know say na cave man I be? Abeg enlighten me

You ke cave man? HPI aka car history check

oh sorry about the ish.... Good youve discovered the reason for the warps... My phones were off because i was in ibadan, in a hospital.... I returned on saturday and fell ill due to stress... but Im in Uyo now.

Your AFS, did you depressed the button accidentally, did you/the mechanic touch the AFS height adjustment sensor on the suspension?

My car doesn't come with the AFS switch. I think the guy tampered with the sensor adjustment at the right rear.
Cos i was hearing some noise whenever i go over a bump the Wednesday evening i took the car from them. But on driving out Thursday morning, the noise were gone

Take it back to them to replace the sensor if its been removed or damaged. If its still there, maybe they tampered with its position

Has anyone here every cleaned oxygen sensor, reinstalled and it worked to clear the error code?
Re: Club-Lexus by Am4obama(m): 1:41pm On Jun 27, 2015
Welcome to the Club.. Just bought my Rx330 few months ago, swift and superb in driving but I notice the code 'VSC' on my board. I did scanning with my bro, came up with P0430 or P0320 not sure though but the code has to do with catalyst in exhaust. I took it to mechanic wat they did was to push 'mesh' into the exhaust. After clearing code, and driving for a while, VSC re-appears. Don't knw wat to do for now. Secondly, when I applied break, I do hear a sharp sound around the tires.. Could it be my break pad? I rep. PortHar....

You allowed them put mesh or whatever into your exhaust and you can hear a sharp sound, when you apply the brake, and you are not taking off the tyres to examine ? You want to damage other parts in the process ? Or basic maintenance schedule is not part of car ownership?

I did this with my A/F sensor. Basically lead poisoning on the sensor. Cleaned the sensor and refitted it back.
The codes came back but that's after driving for like 100 miles.

Since then, the check will go off on its own and come back on after say 40 or 50 miles. I cleared the codes again on Thursday, went to Kaduna yesterday and came back. Codes came back again this morning.

So a longer term fix will be to change the sensor. But the culprit is our fuel. The lead content in our fuel is poisoning the O2 and A/F sensors. Until we start using unleaded fuel in Nigeria, we pretty much have to keep P2241, P0430 and P0230 and related faults company.

P0430 P0320 means your catalytic converters are beyond acceptable threshold. Kindly research more on this topic before agreeing to a fix. Kindly go and remove those mesh before it start suffocating your engine and u will have bigger issues on your hands.

Find out what is causing it? If you are in Lagos, meet Gazzuz so he can install spacers on the sensors on each bank of those catalysts and see if it solves the problem. Please

Hummm. ... so which did you flex while you were there, the natural resources or the human resources?

Heard about a guy that was in Akwa Ibom on a drilling location, and as usual the guy got "hitched" to one babe there and got "homely" with the girl.
Like joke when the rig moved he refused to relocate but rather operate from his new home away from home. He was married with children.

Anyway glad your back.

Had to go there on a rather sad note but still took my time to do other things.
My uncles burial took place yesterday, besides, my GF was afflicted with stroke so she's undergoing rehabilitation by medical specialists and her parents. These were the reasons I had to travel. I didn't use any of my cars.

Has anybody used KYB strut assembly before...how reliable are they? One of the front shocks of my RX330 is making some clunking sound when I turn the steering wheel to the left or climb a pavement of sidewalk. The sound suggests it's weak thus requiring replacement. I want to use KYB. From online reviews on clublexus, it appears as a popular and good OEM brand.

Please share your experiences if you have used this product.

Thank you innticipation of your comments.

Am left with P0125 error code, cleared it but it comes up occasionally. Found a loop in my wires for both radiator fans to run at the same time, disconnected the loop wire, 1 fan runs now and 2nd fan comes up when AC is switched on. Is the thermostat the culprit for this P0125 error code that pops up?

Checks did not reveal any other problem. Other parts around the area of the noise seem ok. More so, I have changed stabiliser linkage and camber bushings to original ones.

Check your wire connections properly. None of the fans ought to spin continuously. P0125 relates to insufficient coolant temperature. They only spin when the engine has attained certain temperature & stop when coolant has circulated to cool the engine. In the same way the a/c thermostat works.

Thanks a lot for your response.
Discussed this issue with an auto electrician and also a mech. They advised it's okay that way because of our weather, to me it's how far they understand these modern cars, checked earlier for any other wiring issues no visible broken wire. Next step to check is to see if the thermostat is still in this ride.

I have changed stabiliser bar bushing but will also look at the strut mount on the driver's front wheel.

most likely you thermostat has been removed or stuck open/close. Check that as well. It will require you to buy more coolant if you don't already have.
