Congrats on ur new baby. Sorry for the pains it'll be over in no distance time, avoid stress and apply medications prescribed by ur doctor. It's not easy what mothers go thru in delivery. I was in the labour ward the other day, there's no kind of cries, shouting and screaming that it dint hear. Their ceaseran section was even smoother and faster cos they have experienced professionals. I think people should be concern about the hospital in which to perform CS becos if perfectly done, withing 1 week or 2 one should see remarkable improvement. |

My dear, its a thing of d mind. I ve gone thru CS two times not becos I opted for it but becos of some medical conditions. I healed faster the second time becos I made up my mind to be stronger and face up d challenge. U won't believe dat I healed in 3days, I was up, walking around and taking care of my self and the baby. They discharged me on te 4th day. Unlike the first time dat it took me 5days to be able to get up from d bed. Congratulations but u need to b stonger so u get back on ur feet soon. Am just 3months gone and am back to d gym 3 Likes |

sorry for that Madam, CS is a very terrible experience during child delivery. my two months old baby boy was delivered through CS. to be candid with you, it is fastest means of child delivery, if is done by professionals, in my wife's case, not more than 30minutes the baby was out without complications, I was even on my way to sign the necessary documents before the operation, surprisingly I got a call. thanks to God and Obio medical centre in Port Harcourt. |

aduaba:God bless you for saying this, I think the problem most times is with the Cs operators, I know these days, that there upgraded advanced methods to perform a Cs, but very unfortunate that a lot hospitals and clinics does not still have the facilities and personnel to carry out this task thereby causing so much fear and panic for potential mothers who are booked for CS. My hearts goes to you mother the Op, just take your time and enjoy you bundle of joy, adhere to instructions and everything will be just fine within a short period of time. |

These stories are truly terrifying, I must confess. It makes me appreciate being male. The horrible experiences of these women are a true reflection of Nigeria's poor medical standards. In the modern world, CS is often a safe & painless procedure, carried out with efficiency & precision. That's why many affluent people opt for it. It's a pity these women have to suffer for the government's incompetence, when the polititians themselves send their women outside Nigeria for quality care. 1 Like |

abisquare: Holding your baby after a period of nine month pregnancy is every woman dream, going through CS(Cesarian Section) for delivery is more challenging than normal delivery my baby is already 7 weeks and I still feel thee pains of stitches and a lot of DONTs. In my case I've a little opening on it and it can be so frustrating that you wish the scar will just disappear there are times when you have the urge to give it a tough scratching because of the way it will be itching you. Is all dis normal for those who have gone through this procedure? Or am I the only one feeling this way it's so frustrating that its almost covering the joys of holding my little cutie. why did you opt for CS ? at least you were give other options lets start from there |

50calibre: These stories are truly terrifying, I must confess. It makes me appreciate being male. guy mind yourself o you may think that a planned caesarean is the easier option, but it carries its own risks. Having a caesarean section also involves some pain. But this pain comes after, rather than during, the birth. You'll be recovering from a major operation, and the pain can interfere with your day-to-day activities for several weeks and months after the surgery 1 Like |

@OP, congrats! Yeah, congrats cos u went tru it and came bk alive with ur bundle of joy stil, jst like i have too, two times. My "soldier" boys are super today! But as per the itch, it's normal- it's a sign of recovery, healin and good state of the sight of surgery. Really. I have come to realise that applyin sheabutter (ori) every mornin and evenin afta bath does the trick - less itch! Yesssssss. And at thesame time it makes the surgery suture even-off and not mould-up as a scar. Serious (frm experience). How we undermine the use of sheabutter! It's nothin to worry abt and if u will be sincere enough, thee itch is not D@ uuuurrrrghhh like u paint it. Itch is itch so? Congrats again, love to ur bundle of joy! 1 Like |

My experience was bad! I moved after the operation, like standing up and took a walk in d evening, the next day I could not even stand up. my nipples refused to latch so the baby could not suck, imagine were nurses had to come and use syringe to try n make the nipple latch. horrible after the 4th day the doc refused to prescribe pain killers. I was still bleeding till the 4TH week. general body disorder, I cant imagine going thru another one even as am pregnant again, I pray for a normal delivery |
