Remember, so far as satan can tempt Jesus, no one is exempted, do not be wise in your own eyes, remember the downfall of Solomon, lean on the Holy Spirit, and guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life. In fact, not to forget, Jesus even told me to love my enemies. Ah! What greater love do we even need from God. Things will begin to turn around, you'll feel inner peace, you won't be concerned any more about any pastor or imam that is falling away, but you'll know that at the end, it comes down to YOU and God. So it's ok for Jews to sacrifice a human for the remission of sin but it's a sin for Yoruba to sacrifice a goat for the same remission of sin

Too many fanatics on both sides of the argument. Unnecessary abuse.

There needs to be more love, because by nature a devout christian/Muslim cannot speak the same language as a pagan or an atheist. No matter how rational the Christians/Muslims try to sound, the gentle truth is that you can't be obedient to your religion and be unbiased at the same time, it's been made impossible. Rational arguments are really only for people without binding attachments to any position.

So let those of us who want to learn about our traditional religions do so in peace, and let the more knowledgable continue to feed us with what they know. And let those who are against these religions and don't want to learn anything, visit other Christian/Islamic friendly threads.

Now I understand where the director of the film "Devil's Advocate" got that scene where the African traditional religion priest took a goat to the basement of his house and slaughtered it for sacrifice.
