Mehn....I'm beginning to reason alike with the guy that theorised that when and if NLNG calls it will be for medicals. My thinking is that it doesn't show responsibility on their part to keep job applicants that long on d sidelines witout any form of communication whatsoever only to later dash their hopes by an unsuccessful AC outing. It will be very heartwrenching and bitter for one not to get this job now...not after waiting dis long.

Abi my people wetin una think?

Hullo pips...Been awhile. Its was a really surprised when i got that SHL stinker but luckily for me i was already engaged in a logistic coy so i just shrugged it off. All the best to the great minds left in this campaign, i would sure like to know those went all the way to Notch this job that gave me mega anxiety.

peace out. grin

It must really be difficult for some who are expecting so much from this experience....

You might be uneasy because you are not informed, however i am yet to find an employer who communicates all or part of its internal process/decisions/challenges to its applicant(s). Take for example recently an interview was conducted for the experienced cadre which had about 34 open positions. This interview spanned about 1 month in PH with the panel which had about 8 -10 people participating and later broke into 2 panels in order to meet up with the schedule for the exercise. And this recent exercise is yet to be completed. Internal challenges in a world class organization also occurs, and as an organization which holds integrity as one of its values, it would rather postpone and postpone the process if it means that the process will not be compromised.

'One of the truest test of integrity is in its blunt refusal to compromise'- Chinua Achebe

Suggesting that you would be called directly for medicals is wishful thinking, nothing wrong in that but if the above quote has anything to do with this exercise i would suggest you think again.

Shit in angry I think you are not different from those of us who passed the SHL test, cos nothing is happening here!!!... its all going sour for NLNG and its entire Nigerianization poo. 2012 they said they did $11.5B, 2013 they started with feed gas supply story, 2014-ebola, PIB et al, 2015 maybe election. "If we are to describe NLNG in two words it will be performance and values"...I see a decline in performanceundecided btw countries are gaining grounds in the global gas market. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/nigeria-loses-gas-investments-african-countries-report/#sthash.3v82OqjT.dpuf

Well I believe all who are still in this race are competent enough to stand an AC if that be the next stage. I'm only saying that it is unprofessional for a world class organisation as NLNG to keep applicants waiting this long to conclude what should normally be a simple straightforward process. A big body like nlng should know what they want and if this recruitment exercise is in line with their business strategy one would expect that it would have been well thought out and proper structures put in place to address whatever challenges(ebola or what not) may come their way.

What I'm saying is that it will be cruel if after all this wait the company will dash a candidates hopes because they still have to select further. I wouldn't wish anyone that kinda fate.
