We're playing world cup qualifier against Ethiopia on 16th at calabar; then zoom off to London to play the Italians 2 days later. How feasible is this arrangement?

Anyway, a good excuse when the italians batter us: "We just played an intensive world cup qualifier with the Antelopes; our boys were worn out."

Afam4eva: I don't know why despite Nigeria's huge population in London, our fans have difficulty making their presence felt when we play in London. I remember when we played ghana some years back in London, there were more Ghanian fans than Nigerian fans yet we have more population than them in London. If it's Nottinghill festival now, they'll attend.
.

As against what many haters like to believe, most Nigerians in UK are gainfully employed. I know of a Naija guy keen to see the match but has a along theatre list that afternoon and an outpatient clinic next morning. I guess there are thousands more like that.

If they would engage in all manner of things except hard work and then gallivant about any Naija game and what not, you will be the first to crucify them and call them jobless.

I will go because I happen to have that afternoon off.

Guys, let's rep NL in numbers at Craven cottage?

Anyone going to see Supers Eagles apart from gbosaa?

But is NFF so desperate to play Italy to schedule this game for 18th, just 2 days after Ethiopia?

This is a match I have been waiting for.A match where weakness will give place to strength, ignorance will give place to knowledge, and fear will give place to courage. An enthusiastic match indeed.

Obiagelli:
nothing wrong with playing italy after Ethiopia, it's preparation for the world cup and we would be playing consecutive games in the world cup Btw this is the last fifa free date this year.
What type of world cup preparation is that? Can d italians play Us two days after dia world cup qualifying match? NFF was carried away because they saw it as a rare opportunity to play a former world champion. Just hope d italians doesn't mess us up cos anything that happens will become history that will be referenced to.
Have U seen dia team list for the match?

Theben: It's gonna be Nigerian team B vs Italian National team. Egwueke should be ready to man mark Balotelli.

Nigeria 1-1 Italy

Egwuekwe should be playing against Ethiopia considering Omeruo has only returned from injury

We need out fit players against Ethiopia, that's the most important match

Italy is only a friendly.

I am one of the numerous who believe Eagles will beat Italy, it is partly due to patriotism and fully because we have the boys to prosecute a win over the European giant. If you believe we are going to beat them, like this post.
