manny4life: I never said that. But believe me in my entire 25 years of stay in this country, I doubt if I wouldn't be able to recognise a Nigerian name when I hear one, or link it with a particular tribe. Well if you can't do that. It's terrible. At least if not a tribe you should be able to associate that name with a region. If I had an infinite knowledge, it'd be nice, as I'd also understand how benighted a Nigerian like you could be, and not respond. SEE? 3 Likes |

omiobo: Yes,he must be from plateau. Plateau people have funny names. Not funny just uncommon names. Really, we as Nigerians need to leave our small boxes we call home and take road trips round 9ja;widen your knowledge of your country, don't just stay hooked up in that region of yours and start shouting Hausa,Igbo and Yoruba there are more than 100 ethnic groups with different cultures that actually make up Nigeria as a country, let's get enlightened. I know of a colleague that was posted to Abuja straight from the east, to her anything Hausa is synonymous to muslims meanwhile there's a sizable percentage of Hausas that are christians. 6 Likes |

Bros, I dun tire too. When I come back to Naija, I have to school Nigerians on names and culture in their own country. They will stand ignorantly proud and say 'That doesn't sound Nigerian' or 'I have never heard of that before'. 250 million islands. |

Afam4eva:look at the way you reason "if it is not chunks Ade or us am then it is a Nigeria.so other parts of the Naija are not Nigerians right? This is the main reason why disunity will continue to exist among us because of too concentration on the majority forgetting that the minority are there.to crown it all the Nigeria mass media is not helping matters. |
