Gov. Okpabio's best kept secret finally Uncovered;the 36,000 seater Olympic size stadium under construction. Some have called it, "the diamond ring stadium"(because of the unique diamond shapes on its circular sheath).others call it, "Ibom stadium”, while others have started calling it "the Gov Akpabio Olympic stadium". No doubt when it is completed before May 2014, it will be a national/international asset towards sports development in sub Saharan Africa. It is estimated it will create actual/ allied employment for over 3,000 people with an additional 9 figure financial injection into the local economy, through the hosting of national / international sporting and entertainment events all year round. Yea MANGAM this stadium was to be used this December for Carol Night.. but the latest is that its been shifted to next year.. But Julius Berger are still Working on the Site Day and Night as if its gonna be used for xmass  |
