The so-called twitter account @ASUU_NIGERIA, has succeeded in dashing out false informations to unsuspecting Nigerian students. The union, ASUU, has no official twitter handle, so please don't be further deceived by the parody account set-up by a bored fellow just to catch some fun. However, the union, ASUU, has an official facebook page. It's high time Nigerians said NO TO FALSE NEWS ONLINE BY SOME GROUP OF IMPERSONATORS.

If you have been noticing the account from the begining. The info of the account included the word 'parody' and it has no ASUU website address and had another email asuu_nigeria@yahoo.com. But when a thread was opened on nairaland stating the handle as the source, I criticised the account not having the above mentioned infos. And after that I noticed that the person behind the account changed everything to make it more original since he has more followers. Come to think of it, unions on social media don't spend much time online but the person behind the account has got time.
