Who or which political party thumb printed the 90,000 canceled votes from Idemili? Is there any record of Idemili (North & South) ever providing 120,000 votes in a single election? INEC’s published result so far in the recent Anambra Governorship Elections recorded a total of 29,280 votes for Idemili North and South combined.

But 90,000 votes from the two LGAs were canceled. If the canceled votes were allowed, Idemili north and south would have produced 119,280 votes in the November 16th Anambra Governorship Election.

In the fiercely contested 2011 Anambra Central Senatorial polls, Ngige defeated Akunyili with 69,725 against 69,236. The votes came from 7 LGAs (Njikoka, Dunukofia, Awka North, Awka South, Idemili North, Idemili South and Anaocha). Total valid votes cast in all 7 LGAs was 138,961, including Idemili North and South votes.

Is there any doubt that one party to the election attempted to rig the november 16th governorship election by injecting about 90,000 votes from Idemili north and south?
…………………………………………………..
How do you resolve the situation legally?

1. Conduct fresh polls in the area where the 90,000 canceled votes emanated from to determine actual valid votes with full media and observers (local and international) accreditation as witnesses.
2. Conduct fresh polls in polling boots where ballot boxes were hijacked and voters names missed from registers due to unintended errors.
3. Declare final results and allow the aggrieved to go to the tribunal and ventilate their grievances for possible redress
……………………………………………………….
Who will be afraid of the above recommendation?

1. Whoever attempted to inject the 90,000 canceled votes to rig the election.

2. Sore loser(s) who lost billions of “donors” funds after deceiving “donors” with unfounded stories of popularity and ability to “conquer Anambra”.

Anambra Poll: APC rejects INEC’s plan to hold supplementary election - VANGUARD

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected the announcement by INEC that it will hold a supplementary election after declaring last Saturday’s governorship poll in Anambra inconclusive, insisting that only the total cancellation of the election will be acceptable.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Monday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party also called on INEC to come clear on how the election was sabotaged.

APC accused INEC of not taking seriously the opinions of Anambra residents as well as local and foreign observers that most of the registered voters in the state were disenfranchised during the election.

”First, the electoral commission proposed make-up election in only 65 polling units in Obosi before scaling things up to a supplementary election ‘in those areas where election was cancelled’. But we say, without equivocating, that a total cancellation of the election and the organization of a fresh poll, under the supervision of a credible Resident Electoral Commissioner, will be acceptable to our party,” it said.

”It is not enough for INEC’s Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to tell the nation that an INEC official sabotaged the election in a certain part of the state, he must tell the nation who this fellow is, who he/she is working for, what is the extent of the damage he/she has done to this and previous elections, and whether or not he/she has access to the commission’s database of voters’ register, which was apparently tampered with for Saturday’s election.

”Prof. Jega must also tell Nigerians why 16 Electoral Commissioners, who migrated to Anambra days before the election ostensibly to supervise things, could not ensure the success of an election in a single state, when even a polling unit behind the INEC office in Awka did not get voting materials till after 9 am on election day,” it said.

Meanwhile, the APC has accused the PDP of being an accessory to the election anormaly in Anambra, going by the statement credited to the party that the election was free and fair

[size=18pt]I HATE rigging and riggers, so i will say this;

NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF ANAMBRA STATE DID IDEMILI LGA SINGLE HANDEDLY HAVE 120,000 VOTERS !
Ngige truly tried to rig and inject a whopping 90,000 votes into his LGA alone!

With INEC's vigilance and JEGA's high tech result sheets which had unique number codes, his antics was a logistic nightmare and thwarted.

He should honorably mobilize his supporters (if any) and the world media to keenly watch these supplementary elections so that we can all bear witness together to who wins this elections by true valid votes, not stuffing ballot boxes.

The poster and the First to make comment should answer this question:
How many valid voters are in the register given to parties for the election?
The figure on the register shows eligible voters.
So, in all simplicity, people will come out more to choose a Governor than a senator.
Your analysis is flawed.
So, the response of people to election depends on people's perception about the contestants.
Or if they are tired of the incumbent.

Seriously, Nigeria should begin to hand out stern punishment to thugs rigging elections and ban politicians who are implicated in elections rigging from contesting for any public office.

The sad thing here is that all the thugs who thumb printed and stuffed the ballot boxes are only sorry that they were caught. The next is that some faceless politician will pay for their release and they will be back in business of rigging future elections.

This OP is learner for comparing senatorial election to Governorship election. Senatorial election is between Candidates from the same Zone, Governor sip election is between people from different zones. SO the turn out of voters will be massive and dont be surprise those that voted Akinyuli during the senatorial election might voted Ngige during Governorship election in other to give there own a chance in the Government house. Even Akinyuli herself and her family might as well vote for Ngige who knows
