Goodluck Jonathan failed to
appear to present the 2014
Budget before both legislative
Houses Tuesday has been
largely attributed to a grand design by some legislators to
boo him. For the second time in the last
two weeks the president has
failed to make a presentation
of the 2014 budget. Also, spokesperson of the

denied the plans to embarrass
Mr President during the
presentation as being circulated A principal officer in the House
of Representatives who spoke

said”we warned them, the
main PDP then that they should
not disrupt the Kawu Baraje led group when they came
visiting. ” “What this people want to do
now is to ensure they get their
own pound of flesh”. On president’s inability to show
up, he said “what Mr President
has done is morally wrong
because this is the first time a
hale and hearty president has
failed to perform this traditional rite”. “On the other hand,
constitutionally, he is at liberty
to send a representative to
make the presentation on his
