Another kwetion. After the privatisation, the money the phcn are collecting as light bill, whose coffers is it going to? Private or government?

My brother if u ask me I ask who

1) The job of the ministry is to formulate policy with regards to the power sector. These policies are forwarded to the Federal Executive Council and the National Assembly, where they may be made into law.

2) The duty of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission is to monitor the sector and enforce regulations. The NERC is also supervised by the ministry.

3) PHCN ceases to exist. There are now various electricity distribution, transmission and generation companies that do the work that PHCN did (eg, Eko Distribution Company). You pay your electricity bills to these companies.
