Please Nigerians must stand up this time against NFF. They did it twice against Amodu Shuaibu and the result was abysmal performance. The only joy left for the masses in this country they want to take it away. Which white coach do they want to hire now THAT ALL THE GOOD WHITE COACHES HAVE QUALIFIED FOR WORLD CUP ALREADY? Please let's stand for Keshi, he must carry our Super Eagles to world cup.

Goke7: I have said it before and will repeat it again for emphasis that Keshi's greatest sin was winning the Afcon, the guys at the glass house are not happy and to add salt to injury, keshi qualified for the world cup in grand style, no need for permutations or calculator, imagine needing a draw at home or even a 1-nil loss to qualify, instead he did excellently to beat ethiopia 4-1 and went on to draw 2-2 with a world class italian team in a friendly match, they thought will expose him woefully.

Let's forget all the talk of doing well against the best in the world at the world cup, the NFF guys just want to make money at all cost by getting a foreign coach and am afraid they will go ahead unless someone very powerful like Jonathan or the entire Nigerians stop them. If you read in between the lines of what Barrister Green and the NFF President has said, these guys are already shopping for a foreign coach.

In summary, I want to ask, please what are the details of Keshi's contract? does it entail leading the team to the world cup even if he qualified? We all know about the Technical director issue a while ago when Tom sainfeit was appointed before the sports minister intervened, the NFF insisted then that it was part of Keshi''s contract. Am afraid, they will bring that issue up again in legal terms. These Guys are smart o!

Well said!

I will call a press conference inviting keshi and his players where we will expose all the evil plans of these fat old slimy NFF goons.

Indeed, they can't even update their website

http://nigeriafootballng.com/nff/

It's refrering to preparations for the AFCON! We all need to open eye on this matter and be ready to mobilize against these crooks. The super Eagles belongs TO US, We are the people, we are the nation and we WANT KESHI to lead the team at the world cup. We must to be ready to shout loud, via all available media once they try to do their mago-mago. Enough of being a victim in this country, it's time we started to show these clowns we won't and can't be taking for a ride any longer.

Maijari was elected not appointed
As long as those NFF niggers are NIGERIANS, they can be piped down. I swear, it is a small thing for the presidency to do, forget that yeye FIFA no-interference yarn.

@safarigirl: didn't know you knew as much as you do about football/sports.. You try, but you aren't completely correct in all your assessments and postulations.

and so? Can't he be impeached? So elected NFF officials can't lose their jobs? This makes no sense, be he elected, appointed or imposed, he's not above losing a job.

Westerhof had 100% backing of the LT Augustus Aikhomu, every single penny to prepare the team was handed to Clemence Westerhof. Now the FIFA rule that prevents the FG getting involved in the National team. The NFF could sack Keshi in a heart beat and nothing will happen.

That is a pure lie

NFF operates within Nigeria's jurisdiction. if they want to be silly the Government can disband the whole NFF. Worst come to worst FIFA will suspend the Nigeria FA. I will rather we get suspended by FIFA than everybody keep quiet an accept this nonesense from NFF.

If NFF is that untouchable, why was EFCC able to investigate them. I wish to inform you that the FG also funds NFF.

So NFF is not that untouchable. if they attempt to sabotage the hopes of Nigerians, there are ways the FG can bring pressure on them. They are not immuned from criminal prosection. They can go to jail.

Phillipe troussier took Nigeria through France 1998 world cup qualification only to be replaced by Bora milutinovic Nigeria didn't make it out of the group stage, fortunately nigeria managed to beat spain *no b achievement be that*

Shaibu Amodu took care of japan/korea 2002 qualification but was replaced by onigbinde, nigeria's journey in the tournament ended at the group stage, fortunately nigeria drew with England,* another achievement*

shaibu amodu again took care of south Africa 2010 qualification his hope of leading nigeria team to the world ended abruptly when nff decided to replace him with lagerback..hmmhmm, we all knew how the story ended, nigeria was able to get only one point in the group stage which means nigeria never made it out of the group stage.

Keshi took Nigeria thru Brazil 2014 world cup, nff is about to follow their usual routine,
if keshi should be replaced it is better we don't waste our hard earned money on ticket to brazil because the usual thing will happen, you can go if you really want to know how the real brazilian hair looks like.

I have always said it that the problem with Nigerian sports is the administration and not the players/athletes. How can one ever justify this foolishness? Hiring a new coach with just six months to go and only one FIFA international break left in March 2014 is just plain stupidity. How does the new guy get to know the players, acclimatize and familiarize with them, sell his idea and tactics to them? It‘s just stupidity.

If the SE was on a downward roll, then it could be justified but here‘s a coach doing so well and you want a change. BTW who is that guy that will do a better job, Ferguson, Wenger, Guardiola or Mourinho or sone of those hungry and clueless packs from Europe? We have tried Bora Mulitinovic, Berti Vogts and Lars Lagerbak and failed why persist?

Noting will happen, if we let it. That's the crux of the matter. Every form of corruption and wrong doing in this country is allowed to occur because of our silence. However I think on this one, for once we can fight back. Even many of those in govt are football fans and they want to see the SE do well, all we the PEOPLE have to do is make sure our voice is heard. Once the NFF confirm they want to bring in a foreign coach we must make such a noise the likes of which they have never experienced. WE ARE THEIR BOSSES. WE THE PEOPLE. If they try it WE THE PEOPLE must sack them. The Egyptians sacked 2 presidents, one of them democratically elected. If they can do that why can't we sack a bunch of thieving incompetent NFF people?

Did u guys read dis part? " Nigeria’s sports minister, Bolaji Abdullahi last week announced that a “foreign technical assistant” will be drafted in to the Super Eagles backroom staff if Keshi makes such a request". If yes, den most pple here av problems in understanding Simple English Language. Dey won't force any Technical Adviser on him bt would hire one 4 him on his request.
