The merger between the APC and nPDP has completely changed Nigeria's political power map. Here is the new look. NB:Niger state still belongs to PDP, with Babagida Aliu the state governor declaring that he remains in PDP.

PDP will still do well because GEJ triumphed in 2011 without most of those states. What PDP will most likely do is court OBJ's atention because he is the one man that can do something significant in the North for PDP now |

Nigeria's four most populous cities are under APC, Lagos(lagos state) Kano(Kano state) Ibadan(Oyo state) Port-harcourt(Rivers state) Not so good for PDP |

Paul John: Nigeria's four most populous cities are under APC,you just have to consider that PDP is strong in these states you mentioned but not as strong as the APC anyway. But given the consideration of the strength of APC in the states controlled by PDP. Do you think the there is anything for APC? |

Rednaxelot: you just have to consider that PDP is strong in these states you mentioned but not as strong as the APC anyway. But mind the consideration of the strength of APC in the states controlled by PDP. Well said. PDP is strong in Rivers, but the state is presenlty under APC APC is strong in Benue(from 2011 election result), while the state is under PDP |
