To ensure free and fair polls INEC distributed election materials 48hours to today's election:

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the distribution of materials for the supplementary governorship election in Anambra scheduled for Nov. 30.
A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), who visited INEC headquarters in Awka on Thursday, reports that many officials of the commission were seen collecting the materials.

The materials collected include inks and ballot papers, while the result sheets were still being waited for.

An official who spoke to NAN under the condition of anonymity said she was at the headquarters to collect the materials as was directed.

She confirmed that she had collected ink and ballot papers, but that she was yet to collect the result sheets for the exercise.

Mr Frank Egbo, INEC’s Public Relations Officer in the state, confirmed the distribution of materials in an interview with NAN.

He added that the commission had been having several meetings to ensure that the exercise was hitch-free.

NAN recalls that INEC’s Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, had announced Nov. 30 as date for the Anambra supplementary election after the commission’s meeting on Nov. 22 in Abuja.

He said the supplementary election would hold in 210 polling units across six local government areas (LGAs) of the state, where elections were cancelled.

Jega had said there were no sufficient grounds or pieces of evidence to warrant a total cancellation of results of the Nov. 16 election which were already announced.(NAN

This is Nigeria's most shameful election and INEC's most disgraceful 'election' ever.

- INEC's chairman personally said it.
- Over 50% of electorates and a major candidate could not find his name on the register, after it was there two weeks before the election.
- It is on record INEC changed the register 3 times before the election.
- It is a fact that Obiano (the APGA candidate), have 3 voters cards - a crime that attracts jail term. According to the Electroal Law, he cannot vote or be voted for in any election.
- All the to candidates have pulled out of this fraud.

Whoever the people want should be elected. But if you are supporting this fraud - the worst election in the history of Nigeria because it favours you, then we have nothing further to discuss.

There have never been an election as bad as this in the history of Nigeria. Call a spade a spade.

BAD loser, taking panadol for another man's headache. Are you from Anambra? What is your business with who Anambrarians elect as their governor? The desperation of Southwest and far-north APC was the undoing of Ngige in the Anambra election. The harder you guys push, the more unpopular Ngige becomes. Perhaps, if you guys had not pushed this hard or showed this sort of unprecedented desperation, Ngige may have stood a better chance. Imagine protesting in Abuja for an election that held in Anambra? I can bet that the Abuja protesters would have been stoned if they tried that in Anambra. This same Ngige was elected a senator only 2 years ago. What has changed? It is the desperation of southwest and far-north APC (including Rochas) to dictate to Ndi-Anambra who to vote for.

Look at this fool talking as if Anambra people were allowed to vote anyone, why did APGA resort to rigging since sycophants like you want to make us believe they are sure of the people's vote. We'll all see how this ends.

Now tell us what was bad about the election? Had your yorobar party APC won would it still be a bad election? Or would it have been a free and fair election?
You guys sux..
And who said am a Yoruba? Or you are just completing the work Peter Obi is doing to create more enemies for Ndigbo as long as he cover his fraud and install his stooge. How much more blind can you be to the truth that this election is the worst ever.
Re: Anambra Supplementary Election: Live Updates by AWKAMADEGUN: 8:43am On Nov 30, 2013
The calculation is, from the available 113,113 votes in contention today in Idemmili North and South districts, if APC or PDP could secure 85,000 out of it and APGA secures no single vote from it, then either of those two challengers may be declared winner.
It is just like in a football match where a leading team on home soil that is leading with some goal margins will be requiring just one away goal to lift the trophy or loose out if it failed to score the vital winning goal on an away fixtures, it looks very unlikely for APGA not to score even the one single vote needed to be formally declared winner!

So the situation looks very precarious for APC, PDP and Labour parties in todays supplementary match.
My advice to the trio is to be brave enough to throw in the towel and surrender then declare their allegiance to APGA winner instead of going in there to face certain indelible defeat!

So judging by the foregoing, join us on Sunday 1st of Dec 2013 as Dr Willie Obiano of APGA, the people's general is formally inaugurated as the undisputed winner of the Omambala 2013 INEC Champions league in Awka with the golden trophy!

The only party that imported touts with fake observers id and Anambra voters card was APC from Osun!

You are so on point.

Even when Ngige is a known rigger, with Ubah and Nwoye as accomplices, he had a good chance of winning.
Ngige's real problem was not just APC as a party but the SW APC bigots made him an outcast in his own state.
Their desperation will irritate any sane person.
