Laalamed: It is high time private companies take over management of public institutions gradually. Health sector need PPP badly.

Exactly how it's supposed to end; the destruction of government-subsidized amenities and utilities designed to uplift the welfare of the public, provide a safety net and cushion harsh economic impacts.

It's not everything that must end up in the hands of the profit-oriented 'private' companies (the fronts for the very people who mismanaged these sectors) and thus guaranteeing unlimited revenues in their retirements.

These are the prescriptions of the World Bank and IMF which have been proved to be useless. You apply them at your own risk.

The goals of privatization and public welfare are mutually exclusive. Governments all over the world don't privatise healthcare, power, water, security. Governments must exist for something.

If there's nothing the government can't get right or do right, then it's high time the people take their destinies in their own hands and decide for themselves how they want their future and their children's future to play out.

@op wat a very gud observation but d issue is dat we always blame the govt for every little tin whereras we are not helpin matters by contributing our own quotas to d development of the nation by evadin taxes. We always make references to d developed nations in terms of infrastructures but fail to talk abt their citizens cotributions to d growth.
