The association of Nigerian graduates Against Unemployment an association that started here on nairaland has decided to take the struggle on another level by inaugurating state chapters.The ogun state chapter kicked off last month and now the Oyo state chapter shall be inaugurated on Friday 13 December 2013.

The coordinator of the association Ehis Abuya spoke to prestige newspaper about the way to go about it, he mention that the association shall confront the government for enabling environment and through AGRICULTURE and industrialization 20,000 unemployed graduates must be employed by march 2014 and 10,000 youth with no qualification too.
The struggle for unemployment is a collective one he added and he also used the medium to call on all technocrats and noble men of goodwill from various spheres that has made it though hard work to be trustees of the great initiative.

The public relation officer Micheal oni also added that its time the youths stood up and make their voices heard.

The Venue is the Nigerian Labour secretariat, Oyo state council, 943 American Quarters, Yidi Agodi Gate Ibadan by 10.30 A.M

Please let's join hand by making Nigeria a better place for all and sundry by being a part of this meeting

As for youths in Oyo, no sitting on fence. Move en masse and storm the venue. The media will be there to cover the event. Let them know ur grievances for being unemployed. Invite friends, neighbours both employed, underemployed and unemployed. Crowd the venue and let ur
voices be heard. Remember, if u dont fight now, u may never have time to fight again. Nigeria is ours and we must not live like strangers or slaves in it. Together, we can!!!

Its high time we move out from our grey twilight and come out to face the reality that has dawn on us that this country is not ready to help us unless if we are ready to help ourselves...

And this is the avenue where we can achieve our aim of being self employed(entrepreneur) without the fear of being going bankrupt, this also an opportunity to contribute our own quota to the betterment of this great nation coz the government cannot satisfy all our needs...

Everything is now set for the forthcoming inauguration (meeting) in Ibadan coz we went to deliver some letters to some of the national dailys (The Sun, The Nation and The Punch newspaper) we have in this country yesterday and they gave a positive response that they would be present to capture the whole event come 13th of December, 2013.

I just want to implore everyone of us to plss come out en masse to the venue of the meeting in other to make our own opinions count...

I stumed on the above association and notice we had actually have so many so called unemployment associations fighting unemployment in d country but they all amount to nothing because the leaders compromised as soon as politicians began 2 grease their palms with plenty money to cool them off without considering the millions of people hoping the association to fight unemployment.

I wish this one wunt end up like the rest but a true mandela spirit of consistency and loyalty to millions of graduate it would soon represent come 2014

Am still surprise why this thread hasnt been pushed to the front page. I mean Friday, 13th December is just @d corner and this is the right time for people to be aware of the meeting so they can begin to arrange and be prepared for it.
