10 "Signs" of the end of the age

Over the next few days I am going to post ten "signs" of the end of the age. Watch skeptics actually fulfill Bible prophecy with their comments (if you know scripture, you will see it).

Here's the first sign of the end of the age:

1. The Scriptures tell us that there would be slick, money-hungry Bible teachers who would slur the Christian faith and deceive many:

"...there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies) … And many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings; because of them the true Way will be maligned and defamed. And in their covetousness (lust, greed) they will exploit you with false (cunning) arguments." (2 Peter 2:1–3, Amplified Bible).

2 Peter 2:1
2:1 false teachers.

Even during the time that God's holy prophets were transmitting the Old Testament Scriptures, Satan had sent false prophets among the people, to deceive and confuse them (e.g., Deuteronomy 18:20-22; 13:1-5). The same proved true in New Testament times, as false prophets arose to counteract the teachings of those with God’s true gift of prophecy (e.g., Matthew 7:15; Acts 13:6; 2 Corinthians 11:13). Satan continues to send false teachers (2 Timothy 4:3; Titus 1:10,11) and even occasional false teachers who claim to be prophets (e.g., 1 John 4:1; Revelation 2:20; Mark 13:22). Peter here describes many of their teachings and attitudes, warning against them. This warning is very appropriate today, for false teaching in the name of Jesus is rampant today as never before, ranging from subtle heresies to flagrant denial of His divine/human nature.

10 "Signs" of the end of the age

Here's the first sign of the end of the age:

1. The Scriptures tell us that there would be slick, money-hungry Bible teachers who would slur the Christian faith and deceive many:

"...who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of." (2 Peter 2:1b-2).
2 Peter 2:1
2:1 damnable.

The Greek word for "damnable" is apoleia. It is translated also as "destruction" (2 Peter 2:1); "pernicious ways" (2 Peter 2:2); "damnation" (2 Peter 2:3); "perdition" (2 Peter 3:7) and "destruction" (2 Peter 3:16). Its basic meaning is "ruin."

2 Peter 2:1
2:1 bought them.

The Lord’s redemption price (1 Corinthians 6:20), which He paid in His own blood, was sufficient to purchase salvation for all who are lost, even those who deny Him and His redemption. If they choose to remain enslaved to sin and Satan, however, He will allow them to bring upon themselves the ruin they deserve.

2 Peter 2:2
2:2 pernicious ways.

Especially in the last days, many will follow such false teachers (see also 2 Timothy 4:3). Today false cults, liberal churches, occult movements, and false doctrines of every sort are proliferating rapidly all over the world, all speaking in the name of "Jesus" or "the Christ" (but never of "our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" ).

2 Peter 2:2
2:2 evil spoken of.

Literally, this means, "blaspheming the way of truth." In this chapter, as well as other Scriptures, such false teachers are fully described. Some of their characteristics are as follows. They:

(1) deny the doctrine of redemption by the blood of Christ (2 Peter 2:1);

(2) deny the lordship of Christ (2 Peter 2:10—in this verse "government" is the same word as "lordship;" this denial is also evident in 2 Peter 2:1);

(3) twist the Scriptures to their own beliefs (2 Peter 1:19-21; 3:16);

(4) bring in their false teachings subtly (2 Peter 2:1—note "privily;" and 2 Peter 2:3—note "feigned" words, or literally "plastic" words);

(5) speak evil or sarcastically of true Biblical doctrine (2 Peter 2:2,12);

(6) ridicule divinely approved "dignities"—that is "glories" (Greek doxa), possibly God's holy angels and other representatives of His power (2 Peter 2:10-11);

(7) covet money and prestige (2 Peter 2:3,14-15);

(8 ) are eloquent crowd-pleasers (2 Peter 2:18);

(9) are deceitful (2 Peter 2:13);

(10) are lustful and seductive, promoting carnality (2 Peter 2:10,14);

(11) are thoroughgoing evolutionary uniformitarians (2 Peter 3:4); and

(12) deny Christ's bodily second coming (2 Peter 3:3-4).

Here's the 7th sign of the end of the age:

7. False teaching would replace biblical truth:

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." (2 Timothy 4:4)

Here's the 8th sign of the end of the age:

8. Men would deny that God created the heavens and that He destroyed the world through Noah's flood:

"...scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people who] walk after their own fleshly desires...For they willfully overlook and forget this [fact], that the heavens [came into] existence long ago by the word of God, and the earth also which was formed out of water and by means of water, through which the world that then [existed] was deluged with water and perished." Here's the 9th sign of the end of the age (these are from the script of the new "Noah" movie, and also a tract. Both will come out early in the new year—God willing):

9. The future would become frightening:

"...men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken." (Luke 21:26)

Top ten "signs" of the end of the age.

Here's the 10th sign of the end of the age:

10. The city of Jerusalem is pivotal in Bible prophecy. Scripture says that it would become a major political problem for the nations:

"And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples..." (Zechariah 12:3)

The powerful Arab nations want to annihilate the nation of Israel, so that they can have Jerusalem as their centre of worship.

Skeptics (motivated by their fleshly desires the sin of lust) would mock these signs, claiming they have always been around:

"...scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation'." (2 Peter 3:3,4)

"...Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (completed)" (Luke 21:24, Amplified Bible).

Jerusalem was controlled by the Gentiles (non-Jewish nations) until 1967 when the Jews took its possession. For the first time in 2,000 years the Jews stepped into Jerusalem. This sign shows us where we are on the prophetic clock. We are living on the very edge of the coming of God's kingdom—when His will, will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. The tragedy, however, is that despite these evident signs, most would ignore the warning to get right with God:

"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." (Matthew 24:37–39)

God is holding back His anger against evil, because He isn't willing that any should perish, but that "all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). In Acts 2:20, 21, after speaking of the sun being darkened and moon turning to blood, Scripture says, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

My point is that, the people who wrote the new testaments (European) are still the people fulfilling it...

With their allies(American)...

It has got nothing to do with the prophesies of the creator in the Jewish Tanark...God is going to destroy all idolaters beginning with Christianity, Islam and the rest..End of the day only Judaism and the people who worship the creator of all..will survive....

The messiah of the old testament has not come, when he does come..there will be peace..that is his mandate, not to come and be worshipped or die go and come back again..no such arrangements in the old testament.. The Jesus in the new testament is a Roman creation to deceive those with no sense like you.
The messiah is an ordinary man like me and you with father and mother , not a demi god...his name will be David..not Jesus..
I can send you the passages dealing with the messiah for you to study if you want..

It is hard to get out of the "God spell" it was for me...but you have to if you don't want to be destroyed..

What you don't realise is that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled even by your own statement.

What are the signs of the endtimes in the last days? Bible prophecy tells us what the "last days" will be like, and many of the signs of the end times are present within our modern culture.
