Oluchi hold the power button for about 15-30 seconds, till the tab goes off on it's own. The same thing happens to my opposite door neighbor many times, and he brings it to me always.
try it and give me feedback.

I finally did it but the hard way
I now have a CWM and a back up rom now I can use font do risky things,no more fear of brick.

My next project is to upgrade to v4.4 kitkat by using a custom rom from samsung note2 7inch

Rock on, man. I've tweaked my pad sooo much, you won't believe it's a tecno phone. Infact, i've bricked my pad like 6 times but fixin' is a piece of cake, all thanks to CWM.
