The 5 months old strike of the academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has finally been called off.. The strike was called off after a marathon of meeting a,among ASUU executives and stake holders.

The meeting that lead to the calling off ASUU strike was held in the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State on Monday, 12 December, 2013. After a long debate in the meeting, the federal government and ASUU reached a decision to call off strike.

From the official desk of ASUU President and behalf of ASUU, student should go back to school and start their normal school activities. And Lecturers are to resume there official duty with immediate effect.
