Python can be used to develop GUI apps using a GUI framework such as TKinkter and WXPython. You can also build Web apps using frameworks such as Django, CherryPy or Bottle. Nairaland is currently built with Python. I developed a mini web app for computing students grade using python and Django framework. 1 Like |

Nairaland is currently built with Python. I developed a mini web app for computing students grade using python and Django framework. I developed a app for computing students grade too, but it's in py, I read about Tkinkter and WxPython....but I don't really grab much about the GUI stuffs... Can I see your apps and codes, or at least part of your codes that maybe helpful? |

Very good framework!! |

I am not really into Desktop apps. I prefer Web apps , I will be dabbling into Google App Engine next year. Apps built in Django can be tweaked to run on the Google App Engine which is a no-sql framework. |
