At an Emergency meeting of the Global Youth Forum held in Abuja together with our Legal team in which we thoroughly examined the Defection of the PDP aggrieved Governors and members of the House of Representatives, we are totally dismayed having gone through the various sections of the Constitutions of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which prohibits an elected officer from defecting to another party until the duration of his or her tenure.
Based on the foregoing, we hereby issue INEC 24hrs to recall and retrieve the certificates of Return of all affected members of the PDP or face our wrath. We shall shut down activities nationwide via a massive protest.
We are really disapointed that the APC who claims to be the progressives could woo and snatch members of the PDP unconstitutionally.
We want to make it clear for all Nigerians to know that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock until 2019. President Goodluck Johnathan has performed excellently and hence remains our president automatically till 2019.
We would recall that GEJ has transformed the Nation from story to glory. Fought corruption and injustice to the last later.
We call on Nigerians especially the youths who are the future leaders of tomorow to emmulate president Johnathan, support his good works and say NO to APC.
We wish to warn all those fighting and distracting the president to desist from such act as such acts are capable of hiting the polity.
Nigeria is our country her peace is our peace, her progress is our progress as well as her unity. So let's support GEJ and PDP for a better Nigeria.
