don't be in a hurry to generalise. Everybody cannot be a computer savvy. I am a professional in what I do though it's not about computer. Let's avoid fallacy of hasty generalisation. We still have hardworking, dedicated and honest young Nigerians, only time will reveal us.
To make a choice for your laptop, please consider
1. Usefulness
2. RAM should be 2g or above
3. Hard Disk should be 320g or above
4. Battery life: minimun of 2hours
5. Choose Intel against AMD
6. HP and Dell are trusted for ruggedness and durability.

You can't get a new Laptop with this budget that will meet these features. You will need to add small amount to this because New Laptop that will have all these features will cost you up to like 80000. Then i will advise you go for Intel processor rather than AMD processor. It is Laptops with AMD processors that you can see at that low price.

Bought HP 650 for a friend @75k in Wuse Zone 3 Neighbourhood shopping complex. It has 4gig ram, 500hd, and its an intel processor... The price myt av drop, u can go for it since u av increased d budget to 70k...

Meanwhile, please are there engineers in the house who can help me get Two (2) Motherboard (or mainboard) of dell latitude d610 in abuja and at what rate.. I took d systems for repair and d guy said its damaged and dat if unless I sell dem as scrap, den add 15k to get 1Dell D610.. Imagine two of d laptops plus 15k to get just 1dell d610. Will appreciate if contacted via mondepikin@gmail.com
