OLUSEGUN OBASANJO

This man is one of the luckiest politicians alive. All the times he appeared on the national scene was always as a result of either the head of state being dead or other people clamoring for him.

See statistics.

1976...the Head of State Murtala Muhammed was killed by coup plotters and bam Obasanjo took his position and was able to follow his time table to hand over to a democratically elected government in 1979.

Fast forward to 1998....The head of State Sani Abacha died courtesy of poisoned apples and his successor, Abdulsalami Abubakar working in tandem with other retired generals and politicians practically installed Obasanjo as the next president straight from prison.

Scroll back to the civil war era....after the commander of the third marine commando Benjamin Adekunle the black scorpion has done all the work pushing the tired Biafrans from Bonny, Portharcout, Calabar and was at the verge of victory, Obasanjo out of nowhere was appointed to take over and a few months after that drove the biafrans to surrender!

Whether you like him or not Obasanjo is one very lucky fellow with the uncanny ability to spring surprises when least expected.

GOODLUCK JONATHAN

On the other hand Goodluck Jonathan is another very lucky fellow who has been rising in a manner that suggests a strong divine link.
All the times he has risen to prominence has been always as a result of another dying or dismissed for him to take over.

See statistics....from secondary school till the presidency all the people he deputized had either died or removed for him to ascend their position.

He's a dangerously lucky person.

TODAY... both men are locked in a titanic political battle for supremacy. Nairalanders who do you tip to win?

Personally, I tip Obasanjo, apart from being lucky, I think he is a better and more masterful politician.
