naijaway:

@sienna, are u Nigerian? If yes, good for your decision because we need that space abeg and u know how we do we can go to england whenever but kudos for your decision to renounce Nigeria and i hope u and your generations never ever return.

Serious bad belle!!! grin  Siena I think you have just been banished from your father or mother land!  LOL!!! N-a-i-j-a!!!!! Wonders!

Siena:

Hmm, I smell resentment. But no worries, we won't be returning to stay, probably the odd visit, but nothing permanent at all. tongue

Home is where you make it jare!  I am planning to go this Dec---07 Just for a break. In fact already bought ma ticket to avoid last minute financial disasters. Don't like last minute rush-rush business! Have not been since 2005.  If you do not have strong family ties in Nigeria, it makes perfect sense that you are not inclined to visit regularly.  I still have some family over there--and often wondered what would happen if they were not there anymore.

Guess what?  I would visit less often too!  There is really nothing taking you there than but family.  We have a few business "people" who go back and forth.  But it is a choice we all have to make.  The catch about going to Nigeria is that you do not spend more that 2 weeks at any given time if you are visiting.

By the end of the second week, you are pulling your hair out---when the excitement has died down and the reality of things around you set in.  For the business peeps, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Of course we all know you have to collect payment for your "goods" before you return.  You may find yourself staying in Nigeria for over a year to collect "payment"!!! grin He he he he he!!!  Nigeria---home sweet home!!!

Jeeezzzzzzzzz!!! 35 years!!!  I think this is past "point of no return"!!!!

Siena:

Nigeria? Probably in October for my sister's wedding.

@ Dimka: I remember who Militia is, one of my favourite Nairaland girls, courtesy of her ability to shock folk with her very controversial posts.

But, what's the connection between her and Babeelove, are you telling me they're one and the same person?

Leave this guy with his stupid dreams!!! Don't you know him shocked
Re: When Was The Last Time You Were In Nigeria? by BABEELOVE(f): 7:49pm On Aug 15, 2007
dimka:

Militia is this same as Babeelove. lipsrsealed

Yes if I remember clearly you dimka/mohadana used to harrass that Nairaland heterozygous female all over the website.  Please do not mistake me for "it"!!!  Siena please do not mind him.  He has this fetish for "freaks"!!!

October is very close--do you think you can make it for the wedding in Nigeria

You can see I am in trouble here with this "mohadana/dimka" fellow---specialist in "igbo ashewo ladies"!!! Mohadana/dimka---free me ooooooooooooooooooooooh! Wetin I do you
Re: When Was The Last Time You Were In Nigeria? by BABEELOVE(f): 7:54pm On Aug 15, 2007
Ma babylove---Siena----I think I will leave now.  You know the effect of that name "militia" on Nairaland--including myself.---------That disgrace of a personhood"----  I respect the fact that you thought "it"was one of your favourite "thingies" on Nairaland for being sickly controversial.  I do not fault you for that.  You have always been very non-judgemental---unlike the retard bothering us now.  Please see you after hours!!!! kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss

I hope you go for you kid's sister's wedding oh! To give her away of course. Have fun with "dimka'!!!!

Siena:

Aww, that's sad, Jenny. cry

Been there, know what it's like.

Only difference was, it was my mom in the coffin.
She was 46 when she died, in a car crash.
She looked so peaceful, not a mark on her. Almost like she was asleep.
I remember thinking, it was all a bad dream, and I'd wake up to see her as I always had.

Doctor said she must have died of shock, just before impact. cry

@Siena & Jenny!

So sorry hennnnn! sad sad sad

It's a pity that some people think there's nothing good in Nigeria. It is so untrue. Yes, Nigeria is pretty rundown now but to say that everything is bad in Nigeria is wrong, sooooooo wrong.
Re: When Was The Last Time You Were In Nigeria? by Nobody: 4:02pm On May 20, 2008
2 days ago. Quite a disgraceful place. For the whole time I was there, nothing like electricity. Noisy generator plants all over the place. All the meat/food/milkk and fruits got rotten in the freezer. A gas explosion threatened to consume the whole household on one occasion and we finally resorted to Mr Biggs and Tantalizers only to come back with serious diarrhea and dehydration. Nothing good about the place at all. The people are really suffering and smiling. A nation of generational imbeciles who frankly do not know their rights because they never had any.

Are you serious? shocked

I've not been in Nigeria for two years now and to hear that you are back from that hell hole recently with the same old pathetic news that I personally hated with disgust is just shameful. Giant of Africa my bloody foot!!!!!!
