I remember driving from Paris to London with my sat. nav. It was superb.
Try driving with sat Nav from Lagos to warri and see what happens. You'll find yourself in chad.

We have mapped all roads via Satellite imageries and gotten street names where possible - you just dont have a reason to doubt.
