FOOD POISONING DOES NOT MEAN THE FOOD IS POISONED! IT MEANS THE FOOD IS INFECTED WITH BACTERIA THAT CAUSES STOMACH ACHE, OFTEN MOST FOOD POISONING ARE SELF LIMITING! |

Sheer carelessness on the part of the President's handlers. For Christ's sake you are the President of a Great Country, anything you eat should pass through very rigorous scrutiny. Btw, I now see why a lot of peeps take any publication by Sahara Reporters with a pinch of Salt. Going ahead to publish a report that the President was suffering from a hang over is the height of irresponsibility. With this kind of tainted reporting, they need to do a lot to redeem their image if I'm to ever take anything they report seriously...Stale Food can be deadly! 3 Likes |

The display of ignorance on this thread is amazing. Jonathan was not poisoned! Those talking about APC, Obasanjo, Amaechi, enemies should be ashamed of themselves. The funny thing is that even after this clarification, more people will still come here to exhibit their ignorance. |

owobokiri: It should worry that with all the high profile issues generating a lot of heat and anger against this presidency, some of them having great international dimensions, Jonathan still flies around almost every week eating whatever he is served by any chef. The first line of defense is to watch what you eat, then what you touch. If you must fly, travel with your most trusted chef. His handlers must be jokers. 1 Like |

The food poisoning of GEJ in the Gambia was reported by another online newspaper. SR only reported the hospitalization of the President in London, as being caused by hang over after taking excess ogogoro. |

JUST............................... Unbelievable. THE LEVEL OF IGNORANCE ON HERE IS UNBELIEVABLE. FOOD POISONING RESULTING FROM SERVING THE PRESIDENT FOOD THAT HAD STAYED FOR A LONG TIME, a.K.a the prawn IS WHAT EVERYONE HERE IS CALLING DELIBERATE CHEMICAL POISONING? Calling political enemies? It seems everything in Nigeria is either politicized or attributed to 'religion'. And it is SCHOOLED (EDUCATED) FOLKS THAT ARE TALKING THIS WAY? Most did not even bother to read the story before commenting- only just glanced at the topic. Where has the reading culture gone to? And these are the future leaders? Reading has become a burden and chore....instead you see comments resembling those of touts. May God have mercy on the youths of today. 1 Like |
