As the year 2013 is gradually coming to an end. The world at large has received d news of notable individuals in the world of sports, entertainment, politics etc who died in the course of the year.
after giving it much thought, i was able to come up with few names knowing fully well that the intelligent minds on Nairaland will add to the list. however, the list is not highlighted in any particular order.
HUGO CHAVEZ:the former venezuala president died on the 5th of march 2013.

MARGARET THATCHER: the former (first & only female)british PM died on the 8th of april 2013

PAUL WALKER: the american actor cum fast and furious star died on 30th november 2013

NELSON MANDELA: the former anti apartheid leader died on 5th december 2013

CHINUA ACHEBE: the literary icon died on 21st march 2013

JAMES GANDOLFINI: the american actor died on 19th june 2013.
