Network Outage:: Multiple Servers in Provo

Hello,

At this time we are experiencing some network outage at our Provo data center. This affects several servers at this time. We are currently working to get this resolved as soon as possible. We will update this forum post when the issue is resolved. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Dont panick if you are unable to access your site or your cpanel it is just a problem with network outage it willl be resolved soon enough.
Btw how many of you is experiencing this problem with visiting your site

Uptime Guarantee

The Terms of Service, section 9b, contains accurate and updated information regarding HostGator's Uptime Guarantee in its entirety. This article only seeks to help explain the rules to which you agree.

If a shared or reseller server has more than 0.1% downtime during any month, you may receive one month of credit for that hosting plan.
Approval of the credit is at the discretion of HostGator, dependent upon our records.
Routine server maintenance does not count as downtime.

Just because your website does not work, this does not mean your server has downtime. As long as the server is available to deliver your content, then the guarantee is met. It is your responsibility to have working content.

0.1% downtime = 43.8 min.

So you can simply apply for a month of credit for that hosting if your site downtime has passed that mins

The problen has been resolved fully now and all sites affected are back online

Naija hosting companies are just some piece of ****. They bleep up big time. That those mentioned host companies had service outage is just one in a million time. Their services are top notch.
I personally host all my websites with hostgator and I never had cause to panic. I already learnt my lesson with naija host resellers. For those that want to host with hostgator, you can use these coupon codes:
