Happy new year people,

I need some advise. I am confused on which is better.

1. Tokunbo 2006 Toyota Corolla, considering the fact that 90% of the tokunbos out there are salvage title.

2. 9Ja used 2009 Toyota Corolla. This was bought brand new here in 9Ja in 2009.

Which would you advise? Both are the same price. I heard the brand new cars sold in nigeria are inferior in materials compare to the American specs.

Also, which of the 2 has a better resale value.

A whole lot depends of the usage of the car. Body and engine conditions of both vehicles. All things being equal you better go for the 2006 Toyota Corolla.
It will have a greater second hand value over time,
The body parts are cheaper and stronger,
The vehicle is awesomely good
