I still find it hard to figure out the relationship between the female folks and Dummies(Dolls). It defies my logic. Am even more surprise to find out the relationship exist regardless of age! These are few examples of what am talking about. Many years ago, a lady came to visit my parents with her babygirl. later on she left her sleeping baby with us and went on her way to buy some things. unfortunately the baby woke and start crying before the mother's return. We did everything to pet her in vain until my little sister gave her a doll from the baby park and like magic she clutch the doll and went back to sleep! Few years ago I happen to enter my girlfriend's room for the first time. on the bed were like three live-baby size dolls and I was like- 'At your age, what the hell are you doing with those!' I was baffled when she calmly reply, 'Oh! Met my friends; Janet, Rose...blah blah. interesting? Finally this Christmas, we were exchanging gift and one of my cousin present a Teddy bear to my grandam! I was still busy giving my cousin the are-you-serious kinda look when grandma lighten up like the Teddy just credit her life with extra years. So whats so special about these dolls? |

for me its just a natural love I have for teddies. there is nothing attached to it. |

A doll is a girl's best friend!  I had many as a child. Helps to teach females how to nurture and care! It is a developmental aid! Helps with creativity and imagination. |

I don't think there is any problem if a baby that happens to be female plays with dolls but the problem starts when you see grown arze women romancing dolls like say d thing b their boyfriend. But on a second thought I don't think it's crazy or that we(males) were meant to understand the reason why they love dolls just the same way females will never understand why we love sports and video games so much or have interest in them either. I once had a girlfriend who named her teddy after me. She says anytime she misses me or had a quarrel with me, she will just talk to her teddy (or hug it as the case may be)....... After wards she will become calm. |

Logan_Rebirth:It aid mental development in females...when I was younger,I bath my plastic dolls,use clothes as diapers,weave the hair,use neddle and thread to sow clothes for my doll. Now that am grown up,I treat dolls as if they ar real babies that my mum being very superstitous threw them away. Over the time,I discovered I love babies the more,and care for them,sing for them(I sing for my dolls too), I back babies perfectly now cos I pratised a lot with dolls |
