 The Executive Governor of Akwaibom State His Excellency Godwilll Akpabio has been discreetly working to stop President Goodluck Jonathan from re contesting in 2015 or for the catastrophic disintegration of the Peoples Democratic Party . According to sources, the governor has been the main force behind the growing voices of PDP governors clamoring for the removal of the national chairman of the party Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. This is to see to the emergence of a national chairman more malleable than Tukur who can work hand in hand with him and some other governors to frustrate the nomination of Jonathan by the party to fly the presidential flag.
