Pastor Okotie has always thrown pleasant surprises at us once in a while .so i aint surprise this time around…starting with his divorce, my heart goes out to his members, but the marriage is a welcome development on his part. As long as the wife is alive, the husband can not remarry and vice versa.(Romans 7:1-3) (1 Corinthians 7:10-16)
To remarry when the first wife is still alive constitutes adultery which is damnable in Hell fire.
Divorce is not allowed under whatever guise.
Therefore, remarriage in this context is an act of disobedience to God's word.
