Have you ever wondered why your phone performs smooth during the first few months of purchase but begins to act funny later? Well if you havent this article will enlighten you more.

Why Your Smartphone's Performance Goes Down With Time

You might want to say that low RAM may be the cause of performance reduction with time , but the truth is that even phones with high RAM's act the same way. Reduction in performance is almost inevictable. The shoe you're currently wearing isnt the same with when you first bought it , is it?? No it isnt. Excessive usage has lead to the decrease in performance of the shoe. Like wise phones , the more you use them the more their performance reduces.

Causes Of Performance Reduction In Smartphones

•Excessive Usage : This Is One of the key factors that reduced the performance of your phones. Normally a phone is supposed to have a cool temperature. But excessive usage will make the phone HOT thereby making it to hang and reducing it performance.

•Not Enough Memory (RAM) : Lets say you bought an android phone with 1GB RAM , 16GB internal memory and all your files contains 15.95GB of the internal memory, Leaving only 5MB left. Tell Me , why wount your phone perform slow in that kind of situation? Your phone is a machine and there are some certain limits you can reach with your 'MACHINE' . Once you reach that limit your machine has only 2 options , To Reduce its performance or Break down!. This situation becomes worst for phones with low RAM.

Tips To Keep Your Smartphones Working At Their Peak

•Reduce The Usage Of Your Phone : Try to reduce the amount of hours you spend operating your phone. Whenever you phone begins to get HOT , turn it off , remove the battery and allow it to rest for 30mins - 1hour.

•Avoid Overloading Your Phone : Do a cleen up on your phone and uninstall / delete unwanted apps. Make sure that your phone's memory is free and not overloaded. And also , dont run too much apps at the same time. If you run too much apps at the same time your phone will hang.

•Clear Your Browser's Cache :

Smartphones are also capable of surfing the web, which is something that most users love. However, using the Internet for long periods of time can lead to a buildup of data in the phone’s active memory. The memory in the browser cache can start clogging up the phone’s active memory and slowing down the phone’s ability to surf the web. When this happens, users should clear out their browser cache. To clear the history, open up the browser and click on the "Menu," then click on "Options," then click "Settings," and then click the "Clear Cache" button. At this point, the phone will ask the user if he or she wants to clear the cache. Confirm the choice, and the phone will clear the browser cache.

•Perform Factory Reset : If the phone gets really clogged up and the user has trouble using it at all, it may be time for a system restore. This is a tip that should only be used as a last resort. Restoring the phone to its factory settings will delete all of the downloaded and saved files on the phone, so the user loses a lot of information. Users can restore their phones to the factory settings by opening up the "Menu," then clicking on "Settings," then clicking on "Privacy," and then clicking "Factory Data Reset." Select the option to "Reset Phone," and confirm to have the phone erase everything that has been added to it. This will only erase the information that has been added to the phone by the user. The phone’s operating system will still be intact and ready to use. It will basically be in the same state it was when you first received it.

•Turn Off All Wallpapers And Animations : in case you didnt know using animation / GIF images as your wallpaper kills your battery 2x faster. Not only that , it also takes up your memory space. Animations go through some hidden processes to create an effect , So turning off live wallpaper and animation will help you out to improve memory efficiency as well as battery life. Also read somewhere that excessive charging of your phone can also degrade its performance and outlook. And that its more healthy to charge your phone to 97% instead of 100% and do not allow it get discharged to any point less than 40%
