I'm not exactly sure who's in charge of tv content, but while one gets to read a thousand words or more in a written article and little mistakes can be forgiven, albeit, with a whiplash, written content on television is mostly reduced to one-liner newscast scrolls or programme mottos, or an anchor's name if that would suffice.
That makes me wonder how exactly a programme's motto or rider could be written as "the revolution is been televised" instead of "the revolution is being televised."
How does a seemingly experienced programmes editor let such a mistake, or rather, the understanding of the difference between been, a past tense, and being, a continuous tense, fly? It totally befuddles me!
