Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Apart from above and similar injunctions to give liberally to man and God's work, the new testament seems shy of any commandment to give a fixed proportion of personal income in God's service. Why is today's church laying a curse of the old testament on the new testament church for not tithing? Mark you, I did not say giving tithe or a fifth as a personal vow is not scriptural! But why curse the non tither in the new covernant- a doctrinal excess the forerunners never practised?

It is nt a law. Show me one disciple that payed tithe in the bible. It is time 4 us 2 stop this tithe issue. D truth has already been layed bare.

Christians are not meant to tithe, infact the tithing ordinance was clearly anulled in the new testament. Read Hebrews 7:5-19.
