Hello guys, Happy new year 2007 first. I've recently launch a blogging platform for African people, which is at http://www.akopo.com I figure out that there is a lot of African blogs, but they are spread on many platform. So that it is difficult to know some basic information about them (numbers, most topics, most countries represented). So, to support our African platform, you can visit it, and if you like, you can create your own blog. http://www.akopo.com (By the way, Akopo means Group in Yoruba) |

Glad to know that we are really taking time out to look into the web sphere and grab our own spot in it. It is such a large cake that each and everyone of us has our name tags on at least one slice. As we slice, let us beware the kind of information we put out there. Whatever you expertise, make sure your content is the best in your area. I can assure you that you will not regret it. Whether you are there to educate and inform the people or solely in to monetize your blog and make money; you can be sure to meet your goals but in it all be objective. Here is my own little contribution to our country, and over-time we have come to ask the same question over and over again. Hence, i think it is time we talk. involves ourselves and walk together; i believe we can find the way for Nigeria. Check out Which Way Nigeria (?), let us talk together, involve ourselves and walk together to find the way for Nigeria. |

Interesting blog@Icon. I read your blog that addressed the subject of time in Lagos. I wont live in Lagos, because of the traffic. I would rather retreat at my lovely Uyo or Calabar if I move back to Nigeria. |

Alright, it's probably a problem with the forum script. Are you sure it's not a blacklisted site LOL. You could try spelling it out like www(dot)sitename(dot)com. It'll probably show then. |

Guess it might be a black listed site. Anyway the site is wwwdotfreelancezdotblogspotdotcom Godsppeed!!! |

CALLING ALL NIGERIAN BLOGGERS. If you want to have your blog's rss feed added to STURVS.COM please send an email to sturvings@sturvs.com. This means every single one of your posts will show up on my site. I'm looking for good quality nigerian blogs to add to my system but I don't want to add nigerianbloggers.com's rss feed just yet (till I build more traffic) as that will flood my site with posts. Thanks.

The Sturvs site seemed preety cool. My question though is how to ensure a blog's longeivity, there are so many lovely blogs which are now missing in action. I just discovered blogging recently and I have become rather addicted to reading a lot of the Nigerian blogs it is like peeping into other people's world. I have since started my own blog. |
