first of all dowry is not the same as bride price. it is the stuffs the a wife takes to her husband's house after marriage as in her possessions.

i don't think it is bad 4 a girl to help her man with her bride price as long as she;s certain that he is not getting married to her for her inheritance or wealth or something like that
