No. u'll need 2 recharge ur phone with at least 50 naira a week 4 d tru text, the cash remains urs but u just recharge that amount.
The package is just like an extension of the family and friends, up to 10 persons on the Zain network that u can call 4 those tarrifs.
No big deal about the package, they just want to get customers hook to their network, tho i'm already usind it.

I paid N100 to get INto my current package which got 15free sms . . 66k/sec to any netwk(peak) & cheaper off peak. . .even cheaper family & friends et al & u expect me to pay N15O per week to get OUT of it?? for 10 "tru friends?! . . I wonder who made up that package

TRU package is essentially expansion of Family & Friends (from 5 nos to 10). . . with the added burden of having to recharge N150. . . weekly! there are sum serious nutcases at Zain(ab)! whoever thinks up these schemes? how is this supposed to appeal to us? of course they will all get us with the initial hype but now we know better, it aint worth it. I have a celtel/zain line but i only have 3 or 4 zain nos i communicate regularly with, so wats the point of becoming TRU (or FALSE) ? those peeps aint serious!

As Econet, I bought my line and phone at N17, 300.
As Vodacom, they did not offer anything but vanish just as quick as they came
As Vmobile, I never enjoyed the free calls (network error bonanza) that comes once in awhile plus I still have an over-scratched N1,000 voucher that the customer care wants me to swear an affidavit on before crediting my account.
As celtel, I was asked to pay N15, 000 to retrieve my line that had been inactive for about 6months.
