Gay Church by DejiYesufu(m): 3:13pm On Sep 16, 2008
The Saturday, 13th September of Nations newspapers feutured a story of a church in Lagos where the practice of homosexuallity is preached and encouraged. With slogans like "Will Jesus Discriminate", they preach that men canĀ  be born with different sexual orientation and so such men can practice homosexuality since in reality they are females and not men as they may have been created.
The Pastor is a missionary sent from the UK where the mother church is and where this strange doctrine originates from. At the time of the report the church was holding its 2nd year anniversary celebrations. The reporter did not say exactly if all the people in church were men but from the words of the Pastor, he is a practicing homosexual.
One 'Stephanie' Adedapo Adaralegbe stole the show that day when he/she came out to read a poem. He/she was dressed in female clothing. Incidentally as I read the article out to a friend who had graduated from OAU, my friend told me this same Dapo had had this conflict of personality since their undergraduate days and was not suprised to hear of him in a Gay Church.
It will be nice to hear Nairalanders views on this bizarre issue.
