Go to west midlands, and see young Asian boys driving Ferrari's, Rolls Royce, Bentleys etc. everywhere. But they all have legit businesses for cover-up. You don't see them in Canary Wharf like the lousy Nigerians.

I was at Mile-End/Epping on Monday evening, and you need to come see what these Asian guys are pushing on the roads this summer. But most of them have companies, and businesses - paying taxes. And I'm darn sure those businesses/companies didn't buy those cars because the average Asian is a fraudster.

I agree with you, they have cover up biz. Either personal or family set up. I still stand by the young man. The system is too frustrating! The Asian guys you are talking about are hard core drug pushers and are into ATM fraud too. if i were the judge, i would have given him about 50 years in prison(yeah, i know the maximum years for fraud in the UK is just 10 years) but this guy stretched the borders of lavishness & stüpidity!

I think the reason why he got 8 years is because he was charged for less than a million pounds. And that's the right sentence. Also, I don't believe 10 years is the max for fraud in the UK - it depends on the amount. I know some guy from Birmingham got sentenced to 12 years in 2012.
