The Acting Chief Judge of Adamawa State , Justice Ambrose Mammadi, has set up a seven- man committee to investigate the alleged gross misconduct and misappropriation levelled against Governor Murtala Nyako and his deputy Bala James Ngillari .
The judge said his action was based on the power conferred on him by the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended to set a seven man committee to investigate the allegations of misconduct by the Adamawa State House of Assembly against the governor and his deputy.

The names of the committee members were announced by the Chief Registrar of the Yola High Court , Abubakar Babayola on behalf of the acting Chief Judge of the state.
The names of the committee members include Buba Kaigama (chairman of the committee, Mrs Laraba Hassan ,Saadu Lawan, Gapsiso Eston, Joshua Abu, Njida Kito and Eston Binano.
The committee is set to be inaugurated on Monday and to begin work immediately.
