Most time how you feel has nothing to do with the efficacy of the drug...glaucoma is no childs play swapping drug is not the right way to go... If you want to know the efficacy of the drug you should go to the clinic and ask the doctor for ur v.f chart of when you first did it and and now and chk the progression.. To be sincere wt u there is no cure for glaucoma like 100% sure remedy, most of the success story is luck what the drug does is to reduce the damages the pressure does to the eyes by reducing the pressure through various channel... Also you can as the doctor to prescribe pilocarpine for you it expensive and addictive though so he might be a bit reluctant

My advice is for you to see a Dr. Get your ocular pressures measured and have a visual field analysis done. It should be compared to your last one if you had done one before.

Glaucoma isn't a joke. don't ever stop that timolol till you see a dr.

All the Best.

well my friend we are created natural and our body reacts with natural herbs than industrial chemical drugs that has after effects. Swissgarde products are 100% proven herbal suplements. they help support our body with the vitamins and minerals we need for healthy life. Now having been diagnosed of glaucoma, is as a result of not having the necessary nutrients for the improvement of your eye health. I recommended SWISSGARDE EYEBRITE because its a top quality product from South Africa. I have had positive report about it. it contains bilberry, marigold and beta-carotene and Vitamins C. its benefits are.

1. It prevents the eye from infection
2. It improve night vision
3. its used for treating eye itch and cataract
4. it is used for treating glaucoma (it improves the healing process). etc

Now you situation is not that too advance. its not that safe to be using chemicals on your eyes. you need to use this product because there are testimonies about it online if u want to do a research u can. thanks.

I don't mean to spoil ur Biz but as an Optometrist I am deeply concern about ur claims. While some eye supplements do have some benefits to d ocular system, their functions are never curative cos they are mostly multi-vitamins and minerals. (I do prescribe multi-vitamins for older patients too). So Cataracts , Glaucoma and Itching should be out of there. Don't GIVE people false hope. Most supplements do help the photoreceptors and so can improve Night vision.

That's not really correct. Glaucoma is not due to nutrient deficiency. Infact Glaucoma is not just a "disease", its a syndrome. So its more complex than u think.

In order to confirm Glaucoma, you will need to do Visual field assesment test, Ocular pressure test and Optic nerve head assessment. Secondly, the KEY to proper managmt is to follow strictly ur Doctor prescription while doing routine eye check to ensure that the eye drops has halted the progression. Thirdly, Don't use any eyedrop or supplements for ur eye without ur Doctor consent. If u have any more Questions just ASK. BTW....those symptoms u r having...are not due to Glaucoma. Glaucoma doesn't present wit symptoms until at d critical stage. (Only Closed angle glaucoma has symptoms of extrme pain, sudden vision loss etc )

All these herbal stuff sha. Some people believe that because all plants are natural, they are safe to swallow.
Biko, there are many plants that need to be taken with caution some are outright deadly and will kill who ever eats it so not all plants are safe. Do not just take herbs because you hear its herb. Some will deatroy your kidneys or other parts when taken for long. Alll plants contain chemicals of which some react with other chemical in foods or meds we take like viagra, diabetis meds, even muti vit.
So biko, people should watch how they take agbo. All these agbo sellers that claim tgey cure all these stuff are liars, there is no way to cure some eye disease without proper treatment like surgery or lasser terapy to remove scare if need be. They can only claim to slow progression not everything can be treated like malaria or typhoid biko.

Op, my special advice to you is to stay away from herbs especially when dealing with the eyes as you do not know their adverse effects. More so, the eyes are precious organ and your window to the world and not somethings be toyed with.

I have witnessed a case of instant melting with expulsion of the eyeballs in a man who was treating "Apollo" with herbs. He was lucky to have dropped the concoction in just one eye. If not for the immediate reaction, I am sure he would have administered some drops in the second eye. He lost the affected eye and I am certain he learnt great lessons from that incident.

Do you know that a new ophthalmic medication has been developed which can effectively eliminate the opacity of the eye lens experienced by cataract sufferers? It is called Bendazac Lysine drops. This drug inhibits the denaturation of protein in the lens which is what causes cataract and equally dissolves the already denatured proteins thereby clearing the opacity. It is now an option for the treatment of cataract.
