Chiwetel was born on July 10, 1977 in Forest Gate, London, England, UK Is British, of Nigerian Igbo parentage.
He was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 2001 (2000 season) for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Blue/Orange at the Royal National Theatre, Cottesloe stage.

He was awarded the Jack Tinker Award for Most Promising Newcomer at the 2000 London Critics Circle Theatre Awards (Drama) for his performance in Blue/Orange performed at the Royal National Theatre: Lyttelton and, later, at the Duchess Theatre.

He was awarded the 2000 London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Outstanding Newcomer for his performance in Blue/Orange.

Was a member of the National Youth Theatre, in London.

Went to Dulwich College, London

Father was a doctor.

His father was killed in a car accident when Chiwetel was eleven. He survived the accident.

Sung back-up vocals for a Band called Blind in the early 90s, height of their success was playing The Rock Garden in London's Covent Garden.

One of 115 people invited to join AMPAS in 2007.

Starred with British actor Clive Owen in back to back action thriller films, "Inside Man" and "Children of Men".

He went from playing Ernie Hudson's good friend, the guide "Kahega" to Hudson's "Capt. Munro" in "Congo", to playing his enemy, the sociopath "Adebisi" to Hudson's hard-headed "Warden Glynn" in "Oz".

The son of immigrants from Nigeria, he has played almost entirely African characters despite having been born and raised in England. He usually employs a deep, Nigerian timber while acting, while off-screen he has a very British, somewhat Cockney accent.

He is fluent in several languages including Italian, Yoruba, Swahili, and (of course) English. He can "get along" in a few other languages, including French.

He is a Buddhist and admitted that he had to chant more than usual while playing the brutal character of "Majestic" in "Get Rich or Die Tryin'".

Had a successful career as a model in Milan and Paris, before pursuing acting.

The name of his character, "Atticus" in the action adventure film Pompeii is similar to a role he played in the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea TV film, the name of whom was "Cabe Attucks".

Was born on April 1, 1976 in Oxford, England, UK to nigerian parents. David made history in 2000 when he became the first black actor to portray an English monarch for the Royal Shakespeare Company when he played the title role in a production of Henry VI Parts I, II and III.

His performance in the title role of the RSC's production of Henry VI Parts I, II and III earned him the Ian Charleson Award in 2001 for outstanding performance by a young actor in a classical theatre role.

He attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, his course being paid for by the director Nicholas Hytner.

Actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim, classically trained in the UK at the highly regarded Bristol Old Vic and soon after graduation was invited to join the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Hakeem's list of impressive credits include Pirates of the Caribbean III, Lost, Cane with Jimmy Smits, Law & Order: SVU with Mariska Hargitay, The Triangle with Sam Neill, The Librarian with Gabrielle Anwar, X-Men: Wolverine with Hugh Jackman, The 4th Kind alongside Milla Jovovich and Darfur with Billy Zane. Hakeem is often recognized for his recurring role as Colonel Dubaku, through which he wowed audiences with his stunning performance in 24's' Season 7, and in the prequel movie Redemption.

Hakeem both produced and starred in Black November with Mickey Rourke and Kim Bassinger, as well as the award winning film Man on Ground and Last Flight to Abuja. His distinctive voice has also been shared in many popular video games including Halo, Call of Duty and The Bourne Conspiracy. Hakeem is well loved for his TV work, which recently has included many primetime shows including Human Target, Criminal Minds, NAVY NCIS, Law and Order, Cobert Affairs and Strike Back. Hakeem's latest films Half of a Yellow Sun and A Chance of Rain, are set to be released soon and his role as Mr Scott in Michael Bay's exciting and much awaited new series Black Sails with be premiering in 2014

There's no way Chiwetel and Adewale are worth that much, how many movies dem don star in? So chiwetel is now worth nearly as much as Bradd Pitt now eh? Op go do your research before doing copy and paste here!
