My better half said this to me via text and I'm totally lost. I've only gotten so far as mastering greetings in the eSan language. I find it a bit challenging.

Iyawó is a Lucumí Yoruba word that's usually translated "bride of the Orichá" (regardless of the sex the initiate), but it's also correct to think of the iyabó as a "novice" in the Santeria religion. Iyawo or Yabo is a newly intiated in the religion. In your case means: my beloved and glorious boyfriend.
