Miss Katsina and Kogi look good. Miss Nasarrawa looks hideous. shocked
Three-quarter of those girl shouldn't be anywhere near a beauty pageant. Don't they have any mirrors at home?

Fulani people should contest more. They're far better looking than Southern tribes in Nigeria. And I say that as an unbiased Igbo man.

And there's too much airbrushing and photo-shopping in those pictures. Don't look natural.

What you want are proportionate girls as well as height and youth.

These girls below are the most proportionate (in these photos, mind):

Face of top one not proportionate though

This girl below is too fat. Unfortunately, i suspect that people are going to want her to win having been brainwashed by the West into believing that true African beauties are supposed to be thick never mind the fact that primordial Africans were 99% thin and muscly.

Fat is not true representation of African beauty it was representation of wealth.

folks have to be objective, these girls are suppose to go represent Nigeria in an international beauty pageant not line up before prospective fathers looking for innocuous house-wife materials for their sons to wed. Another thing, Nigerians shouldn't fall into the trap of taking a political stance such as those advocated by misguided and confused Afrocentrics, which questions so-called Europe ascetics of Beauty not knowing that as matter of Fact European contemporary ideals of beauty were largely based on African body-types. Women embodied in Rubenesc art were the European ideal of feminine form.

Below, examples of European ideals of Beauty before the advent of gracefuller and long-limned Masai and Tukana type women in the plains of Africa

Masai and Tukana women of East Africa influenced the the catwalk models looks of today. Nigerian women were once derided and regarded in the past as having high-cheek bones and being sinewy in stature rather like Naomi Campbell muscularity. It was not then the ideal however as whites appropriated these African body shape looks, a subtle reversal took place and African were gradually attributed body-shape characteristics once associated with white women. There were other factors too involving a misunderstanding of the BOOTY and Slave Plantation politics involving African Americans....

In any case, if you're going take part in a competition the professional and smart thing to do is conform to the requirements of the competition. It's no use sending ballet dancer to a rugby competition simply to make the point that you're a cultured nation that challenges the notion of aggressive pursuits.

It's based on STATE OF RESIDENCY and not STATE OF ORIGIN. That's how it's supposed to be. Bianca Ojukwu represented Abuja when she won.
