Boko Haram kill more than
100, hoist their flag over
town.

Maiduguri — A civilian
defense spokesman and
human rights activist say
Boko Haram militants have
killed more than 100 people
and hoisted their black and white flag over a town just
85 kilometers from Nigeria's
Maiduguri. Survivors said Saturday the
insurgents lobbed homemade
bombs into homes and
gunned down people trying
to escape Friday's attack on
Damboa. A human rights activist says
the death toll is probably
much higher. He spoke on
condition of anonymity
because he is not authorized
to speak to reporters. Damboa has been under
siege for two weeks since
Boko Haram dislodged
soldiers from a military
camp. Abbas Gava, a local vigilante
group spokesman, says
hundreds of villagers are also
on the run after receiving
threatening letters from the
Islamic extremists.

To even think, thousand of soldiers are currently deployed to Nasarawa State just to impeach one man, while thousands of civilians that needed protection were left vulnerable to a rag tag terrorist group makes the whole situation deplorable and nauseating .

With less than N100m worth of non-selective herbicide using aerial spray from a light agricultural air plane, the entire sambisa forest will be exposed in 1week.
Hence, no more hiding place for boko haram.
